About the Project

Multiply.org.in is a website focused on creating awareness and disseminating personal and business finance knowledge to low and lower-middle-income households. The goal was to create a scalable, user-friendly, and high-performing website that caters to a diverse audience.

Tech Stack & Tools

Frontend: WordPress, Javascript
Backend: WordPress CMS
Database: MySQL
Hosting & Deployment: AWS Server running NGINX WebServer and additional Firewall restrictions for inbound and outbound IP access
Additional Tools: Figma for design, GitHub for version control

Development Process

1. Research & Planning:
Conducted market research and competitor analysis.
Defined user personas and mapped out user journeys.

2. Design & Prototyping:
Created wireframes and mockups using Figma.
Ensured a mobile-first and accessibility-focused design.

3. Frontend & Backend Development:
Built a responsive UI using HTML/CSS/JS, later converting into WordPress custom theme templates.
Developed APIs and database structures for seamless functionality.
Implemented authentication and user management.

4. Testing & Optimization:
Performed unit, integration, and usability testing.
Optimized for performance, SEO, and accessibility.

5. Deployment & Maintenance:
Deployed on AWS server with all additional security.
Set up CI/CD pipelines for smooth updates.

Challenges & Solutions

Challenge 1: Tracking the Custom User specific Course progress along with their Quiz Scores.
Challenge 2: Custom variations of Fund Calculators and saving results to the User profile.
